Checking In!

I can't believe that I havent posted in so long!! I am back to normal after my surgery! Thank you so much for all the well wishes and prayers! I am so glad that is over with! I had a few days of what I thought was gas pains and went I went to bed Monday night they started up again. I was up all night long in terrible pain! I just knew it was gas and that it would go away. It didnt! It jsut got worse...not unlike contractions!! Finally, when it got morning and I could barely breathe or walk, I thought it might be a good idea to wake my husband....THE PARAMEDIC!!! Hello!! What was I thinking??? After the surgery, I had a terrible reaction to all the pain meds that I was given in the ER. I had to stay an extra day in the hospital because of that!
Before I got sick, I put this quilt together. It is so pretty (i think) I was planning on hand basting it the day I went to the ER...still havent got that done..maybe this week! I am also back at the library.

I was able to go to Easter services at church. I didnt teach my Sunday School class though. After church, we went to my MIL's for lunch and an egg hunt. It was nice to be around everyone! Here is my sweet girl (in the middle) and my two of my sweet nieces. They are both very tall! and Kelsey is very short!

Cade had Spring Break last week. Andy took him and a friend to the Atlanta Zoo. We had beautiful weather all week but our Georgia pollen is out of control!!

I have been going for some walks, enjoying this little break and visiting with my sister! Her and the girls came up from Alabama for a few days! It was great to see them!

Thanks again for reading my blog and I will post again very soon!

Have a great day!

Libby

SO glad to seeing you posting again! Glad that you woke your husband about the pains. I've heard that a lot of people get gas pains from surgery and try to walk it off to help, but it shouldn't last that long. Scary to think it was a reaction to the pain meds!! Take care of yourself!

I'm back....I tried to post a comment several times yesterday and it kept giving me an error message....GRRRRRRR!!

Glad you are feeling good again. I LOVE your quilt. You make the most gorgeous quilts! Love the pictures of the kiddos. We have had the beautiful weather also with the pollen out of control. Light yellow pollen is EVERYWHERE! Hope you have another great day!♥
