The quilt looks great! Have U ever spray basted or used fusible batt? I just used a really soft fusible on the tumbler quilt, and it was a dream to quilt..
Love that quilt! I'm not sure if it's the colors of autumn and Halloween or just because it's the season, but I fall for anything in orange/rust/brown. My Quilt Inspector didn't help much, but she's good company. Your kitty is gorgeous!
