I had a great time fabric shopping! We went to Tiny Stitches, a quilt shop about 40 minutes from here. It is a very nice shop and everyone was very nice.
I bought fabric for 2 different baby quilts. Kelsey picked out some fabric for me to make her a new pillowcase.
Next, we had a nice lunch. It was nice to visit with Kelsey without the boys there acting like nuts! I missed having Cade around though, I can't remember do much fabric shopping without him!
We also stopped in at Quilts and Fixins. Very sweet shop! I bought batting and a pattern.
I took pictures of my loot but they are all very blurry:(..I am working on Kelsey's pillowcase today so I hope to retake the pics later on!
Thanks for reading!

Finally! A finish!!
I did take part in Friday Night Sew In. With Ruby's "help" I got the binding put on my latest quilt!! I am SO glad to be finished with it! It makes me so happy to take a new quilt out of the dryer for the first time!! All wrinkly and warm!

I found this quilt pattern on the blog Oh, Fransson! Elizabeth made this quilt and a wonderful tutorial. She made the quilt with fabric from a line of fabric called House by Annette Tatum. I shamelessly copied Elizabeth and used the beautiful House fabric which I already had. I also added a couple of star in a star blocks to my quilt. If you love looking at beautiful quilts you should definitely check out Elizabeth's blog!! I love it!
My quilt finished at 72x84. I didnt have any plans for this quilt. Just figured I would keep it. Well, my daughter Kelsey took one look at it and has BEGGED me to let her have it for her dorm. So, it looks like this quilt will be leaving for college in August.

These pictures dont show just how pretty this fabric is. I may just have to take some more pics of it. It is hand-quilted.

6. The Library end of the year stuff
7. Kelsey has my camera
8. Cade has had bronchitis
9. Cade's sinus' got infected
10. Cade had to be Sam Houston in his schools wax museum. Speech and costume.

YIKES!!
Oh My!!! I have not blogged in SO long!! I hope to be back Monday morning with a long list of excuses!!
I did participate in Friday Night Sew In. It was really nice to spend the evening doing some hand-quilting. I worked on my "star" quilt. It is turning out very soft and pretty. I didnt take any pictures because: 1. it's not done 2. Kelsey took my camera to a concert. and 3. If you scroll done to the post before this one, you can see Ruby sitting on it, it looks just like that, only a little more done!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
