I have decided to display my square (which I did hand quilt) on my kitchen table. I put this little milk glass hen on it. My grandmother gave me the little hen and I just cherish it. I have had to wash my square twice already (i have boys) and each time that I take it out of the dryer all crinkly and soft..I love it even more!

Quilt Square Along
Today I am linking up with others at Jo's Country Junction. Jo is hosting a monthly square along using some of Lori Smith's cute quilt square patterns. The first square is this sweet log cabin. It finishes out at 12x12. It was so much fun to make and I can't wait for the next square to be announced. Go over to Jo's a look at all the other quilt squares. So many pretty log cabins!

OH...it's a great block and you did wonderful. My hope is that I take time to hand quilt one of my blocks before the end of the year. The Bear Paw is next. Are you ready??
Oh that's nice! I just love them when they are crinkly, gives them an old-fashioned cozy feel.

Oh, I just love your color choices!
beautiful block the colors are scrumptious
That is quite the fancy shmancy block you have there. Some of us have only done plain ol' log cabins.
Beautiful job! So glad to see you are using and enjoying it!
I love your colors! I love to hand quilt when I have the time. Nice job! ~Jeanne
i LOVE that you went to a different colorway than most of us. I LOVE the fig tree fabrics and LOVE yours!
Very pretty, I have the same hen in green glass, that would look good on your table quilt too. Thanks for sharing!
I love the block - and the little white hen.

We had a hen like that growing up which we put change in. I hadn't seen one in years until I saw this in your picture! Your quilts are absolutely gorgeous!
